How the Old World Died
It started with The Bloodless War, which lead to a new bread of incapacitating weapons aimed at maintaining peace. These weapons, however, ultimately led to the downfall of society and the rise of “The Ravenous”.
What followed was The Great Conflict. It was initiated by world leaders, politicians, the rich, and false prophets, who stoked cultural divides and fueled chaos for personal gain. The Great Conflict turned into an endless war fought everywhere and left no one on the side lines.
It was in this complete outbreak of chaos, frighting over philosophies, values, and beliefs that caused the breakdown of civilization, discourse, and rationalism. There were left no winners. The only thing that remained were the rotting pieces of civilization that have come to redefine our failures as a species.
The Fall
After The Fall, humanity has been struggling to survive in a post-apocalyptic world, ravaged by the catastrophic events that caused widespread destruction and chaos.
The world fell into chaos. Various factions and warlords emerged, controlling different areas of interest. As the dominant warlords struggle to rebuild their society in their own image, they must navigate between treacherous faction alliances with each other, or engage in ongoing sectarian violence.
The strongest warlords, posing as new leaders arose, offering those that follow them the choice to die alone or thrive together. Survivors that attempt to go it alone face a multitude of challenges, including a shortage of resources, lawlessness, and the constant threat of attacks by The Ravenous.
